Au d\u00e9but de sa carri\u00e8re, il est associ\u00e9 avec son fr\u00e8re Hippolyte (1804-1883) dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 <i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">B\u00e9nier et Marret Fr\u00e8res<\/span><\/i><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> (de 1826 \u00e0 1829)<\/span><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&nbsp;; <\/span><\/i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">B\u00e9nier se retirant, les deux fr\u00e8res op\u00e8rent la maison<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/lesmarret.marret.co\/index.php\/les-marret-bijoutiers\/marret-freres\/\"><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Marret Fr\u00e8res<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, 10 rue Vivienne. Charles part de son c\u00f4t\u00e9 en 1835, reprenant la maison <\/span><i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gloria<\/span><\/i><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, 19, rue de la Paix, et il y \u0153uvre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin de sa vie.
